Terms of Service

1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

1.1 Impressability is a fee based service offering professional resume writing, cover letter writing, selection criteria writing, career coaching, career counselling, group career education and job submission services.

1.2 You agree that the above mentioned services are provided for personal use only. You agree to accept liability and responsibility for your provision of correct, accurate and up to date information with regard to your personal details, employment history, qualifications, career goals, referee details and (if applicable) machinery/professional experience. You accept the responsibility for ensuring your referees have provided you with permission to provide their details for the purposes of providing you with a reference.

1.3 You accept the responsibility of any and all decisions and choices that you make regarding your career development and understand that any coaching and counselling is provided as a guide to your own exploration and should not be taken as advice.

2. LIABILITY

2.1 The client/user accepts that résumés are subjective, that opinions vary and that we cannot guarantee any amelioration to your job prospects. As such, refunds will not be issued for completed works.

2.2 In no event will Impressability be liable to you for any incidental, indirect, consequential or special damages of any kind, or any damages whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the use of any service that you order from Impressability whether or not you have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Under no circumstances shall Impressability be liable to you for any amount for services rendered pursuant to this agreement.

3. CURRENCY

3.1 All prices quoted are quoted in Australian Dollars and all transactions are to be conducted in Australian Dollars.

4. CONFIDENTIALITY

4.1 Impressability take your privacy seriously and your details and correspondence will be treated as confidential information and will not be sold or distributed to a third party unless required to do so for legal purposes including but not limited to subpoenas, search warrants. In this event, your information will still be handled with utmost care and confidentiality and will only be released to those of a legal or governing authority.

5. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE TERMS

5.1 The Satisfaction Guarantee is provided for Custom Document Development only.

5.2 We can guarantee your satisfaction with your Career Services documents because we work  with you to ensure that you are satisfied with the final product.

5.2.1 By confirming your order (either in writing or verbally), you are accepting the responsibility of making the payment. If you fail to respond to our communications for a period of more than seven days without explanation, we reserve the right to assume that you are satisfied with the documents provided as they stand and no further editing options will be provided without further editing fees being applicable.

5.2.2 We offer an unlimited content editing service until you give the documents your final stamp of approval so you don’t have to feel pressured to accept the first draft that we email you.

5.2.3 Until your final stamp approval has been received, we will continue to edit the content of your documents until you are 100% SATISFIED with the end result. You can change your mind about formatting, colour or design TWICE. Please be specific with your design requirements so that you are not disappointed with the end result.

5.3 By accepting these terms and conditions you are demonstrating that you understand that we are not graphic designers and while all effort is made to give you the design that you require, there will be some limitations as to what can be achieved with the graphic representation of the document.

5.4 By accepting these terms and conditions, you are also accepting the responsibility of payment of the ordered products – dissatisfaction with the design after two full design reviews or content without providing us with reasonable opportunity to rectify the document is not grounds for order cancellation or refund. If you are still dissatisfied with the design after two full design reviews, contact us and we will negotiate a mutually acceptable response to the situation. We will always do our best to meet your needs, but further design reviews will lead to a longer turn around time and could attract a further design fee – this will be negotiated if and when this (extremely rare) occasion should arise.

5.4.1 In the event that services were rendered prior to payment, non-communication and ignoring requests for contact and/or payment for a period of seven days or more will lead to your account being progressed to recovery. This may involve legal action, debt collection, added fees and charges associated with recovering the debt.

6. ACCOUNTABILITY AND LIABILITY

6.1 Your job application packages are a personal thing and so Impressability works hard to ensure that you end up with documents that you are happy with, however, while we are diligent with our documents, we are human and the (very) occasional error can occur. As the final stamp of approval is the responsibility of the client, it is thus the client’s ultimate responsibility when reading through the documents that we provide to ensure that there are no inaccuracies or other errors present.

6.2 Impressability cannot accept responsibility for you accepting the final draft – if there is an error in the final document that we have both missed, then Impressability will gladly fix the error without charge, but we cannot accept liability for the outcome of said error should the application be submitted with the error still within and a refund for documents that you have already approved will not be issued.

6.3 Impressability cannot take responsibility for the failure of the client to reach interview. However, if feedback is sought from a potential hirer and any problems with the file were highlighted, we will address these change requirements at no charge within 7 days.

6.4 Impressability does not accept liability for decisions or choices that the client makes following counselling or coaching sessions with Zoe Wundenberg. All coaching or counselling is provided as a guide to assist you with your own exploration of self and opportunity. Gathering and understanding all the relevant information for you to make an informed decision about your career development is endorsed at all times.

6.5 If you have any psychiatric, mental or physical conditions, career counselling and coaching may be inappropriate without full support from a qualified, registered and practising psychologist and/or psychiatrist. Career counselling and coaching is not to replace medical or health based help. We are more than happy to work with you and your mental health team to support you in your career development, however a team-based approach is often best and a mental health plan needs to be in place.

7. RUSH FEES, WEEKEND/PUBLIC HOLIDAY LOADING

7.1 If work is required over the weekend or public holidays in order to meet the client’s deadline due to client scheduling (ie insufficient notification provided to Impressability), then your order could be subjected to a RUSH FEE and/or a WEEKEND/PUBLIC HOLIDAY LOADING (whichever is less).

7.2 Turn around times vary between three (3) and (7) business days for initial drafting. If you require your document to be completed earlier than that, the RUSH FEE may apply.

Rush Fee: $50

Weekend/Public Holiday Loading: 15%

You will always be informed of these fees and your consent must be acquired prior to work commencing.

8. PAYMENT TERMS

8.1 Payment is required prior to work being started. Payment can be made via credit card* over the phone or via web portal**, electronic bank transfer, direct bank deposit or cash.

8.2 In the event that the invoice is not paid within the seven day period and you have not contacted us to arrange an alternative payment method, you may be subject to a $30 late fee. This fee will be applicable on an accrued weekly basis until a payment agreement is made (i.e. $30/week until a payment arrangement is made).

8.2.1. In the event that payment arrangements have not been made within 30 days, collection proceedings will be issued. All fees and administrative charges incurred during Impressability’s attempt to recover the owed money will be passed on to the outstanding account in addition to the weekly $30 fee.

8.3 Direct Debit payment plans are available on a case by case basis to clients experiencing financial hardship through third party Integrapay. Please contact us via email: hello@impressability.com.au for further information regarding eligibility and Payment Plan terms and conditions.

*Credit card payments made over the phone do NOT attract a credit card processing fee.

** Credit card payments made via the web portal using Business ID 9277 will attract a fee that is automatically applied to the total amount. Please refer to the Integrapay payment portal for up to date information regarding their third party fees and charges. Impressability does NOT add on fees for using this service in additional to the administrative fees applied by Integrapay.
